News & Resources – Interdisciplinary Alliance for Children

The Interdisciplinary Alliance for Children (IAC) is a socio-legal enterprise which has brought together some 18-22 key organisations concerned with the rights and welfare of children and families.  It has been instrumental in bringing together policy people across a range of organisations to identify common ground on which to address policy initiatives (e.g. The Family Justice Review, Operation of Family Courts, Children and Brexit, The President’s Guidance on reporting within the Family Courts) providing written and oral evidence.  An on-going and vital part of the IAC’s work is the constant sharing of information and ideas about policy issues and innovative work in maintaining the voice and rights of children. The Alliance meets about 6 times a year; it is now co-chaired by Maud Davis (solicitor and ALC) and Yvonne Wilson(Children's Guardian and ISW, Nagalro) .  All enquiries to iac@nagalro.com
