From 19 to 21 January 2021, the Court of Appeal heard four conjoined appeals in relation to finding of fact hearings in private law cases where domestic abuse was raised as an issue. There were several interveners, including the ALC.  On 30 March 2021 the court has handed down its decision and the full judgment, together with the press summary, can be read here. These are important developments for any members involved in cases where domestic abuse is raised as an issue.
