DESCRIPTION:17 April 2023 09.30 - 11.30\n\nThis ONLINE training will cover:\n\nAspects of trauma as relevant to the assessment of parents involved with the Local Authority and the Courts.Considerations for engagement and how assessments are carried out.Interpreting findings and making recommendations from a trauma-informed perspective.  The course is relevant to the assessment of parents involved with the Local Authority and the Courts\, where the prevalence of trauma is very high.  The trainer will invite consideration for engagement with parents who have complex trauma histories and explore how effective assessments can be carried out.  She will discuss the interpretation of findings and the making of recommendations from a trauma-informed perspective.\n\nTrainer:  Dr Sheena Webb\nDr. Sheena Webb is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and runs the clinical team at the pan London Family Drug and Alcohol Court (FDAC).  Sheena and her team work closely with parents whose parenting is impacted by alcohol and drug misuse\, some of whom have experienced the successive removal of children into care.\n\nPlease contact the Nagalro office at nagalro@nagalro.com for application form and availability.  \n\n
