Veronica Burke, Editor:

As Editor I need to hear your experiences and opinions so that our journal can truly reflect the national scene.

I would welcome articles, letters and contributions to the journal. All are essential to the exchange of ideas and views amongst fellow Association members. I would particularly welcome contributions about the long-term future of the GALRO service; its structure, administration and accountability.

Contributions are accepted on the understanding that the necessary copyright clearances have been obtained or that they are previously unpublished materials.

The views expressed in the journal are those of its contributors and not necessarily those of the National Association.

Acceptance of material for publication is not a guarantee that it will be included in a particular issue. Materials should be typed and double spaced on one side only of A4 paper and pages numbered consecutively. Titles and headings should be as concise as possible and materials should bear the author's name, address and telephone number. It is extremely helpful if contributions are sent on disk accompanied by two hard copies. Further notes for contributors are available from me.

The rates for advertising in the journal are £85 for a full page, £45 for a half-page and £60 for a flyer.
