court to independantly represent a child subject to care or adoption
proceedings.

in the Guardian and Family Court service

between individual Guardians and Cafcass
• Encourage quality standards
in independent social work with children and families

solicitors and other professionals working with children
• Provide professional
insurance cover
• Produce a quarterly journal
• Organise interdisciplinary
conferences and training
