The Interdisciplinary Alliance for Children (IAC), of which Nagalro is a member, has issued two papers relating to the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Bill (LASPO).
The first, Briefing paper 1, highlights how the proposed changes to legal aid will harm children and families. This is supported by a second paper containing case studies that illustrates situations where legal aid will be lost and the impact this loss will have on families and children.
